summerhays bar and grill - Ottawa

Went for a Sunday breakfast with my husband, the food was served quickly and it was very delicious. They have a good selection of fun breakfast foods and the prices are very reasonable. The wait staff was fast and friendly and the restaurant seems clean and well kept.

It is a nice family restaurant in the back, and a cozy bar in the front. Noise from one does not travel to the other. It is clean and friendly. A nice quiet little venue across from College Square @ the corner of Baseline and Woodroffe in the west end.

I came with an employer for lunch and we had beer and food. The service was timely and efficient. The bathrooms were clean. The atmosphere was good. We sat on the bar side and got to watch a jays game. Good place. I've been here before and will definitely come again. Parking lot is too small. But I drove a really big pickup truck so I'm being selfish.

The server we had was apparently not well trained as she was tossing the coasters on the table as is if they were frezbies. We almost asked for a different server.

Stopped in on a Saturday at 1:00PM. Warm greeting and lots of choice for seating.Presented a menu that was only offering breakfast options. Asked for alternative but also stated that I had noticed that "wings" were always available at $5.95/lb. Opted for these and drinks (beer @ $6.20 for 20 oz). Wings great and beer cold with good service.Happy with the experience.
