Godfrey's Ale House - Ottumwa

This restaurant has recently updated its menu, and some of the unchanged items are even better than they were before. The atmosphere is lovely, and the staff is friendly. It's especially enjoyable when the weather is nice and the windows are open, creating a feeling of outdoor dining. It's a great spot to watch a game, with a good selection of beers on tap and a full bar. I highly recommend the popcorn shrimp tacos and the mac and cheese with chicken and bacon—so delicious! If you're in the mood for nachos, those are excellent as well.

The first time here. travel and through the city. the food was great and came super fast..very friendly waitress. in any case recommend.

Cocktails were the best I had in a very long time. eating was fantastic. the service was exceptional.

The food was good 7/10. The atmosphere whas great 8/10. The staff was fantastic 10/10 I wish I would have made a point to remember my server's name because she was awesome. I'll be back next time I'm through town for sure.

Excellent fish tacos. I'll be back when I'm ever back in this city. this place saved as favorites. I usually don't like soft brezels that my friends wanted to have so that we have them. it made me new thinking my attitude to soft brezel. Very good.
