Restaurante Oxalá - Ovar

It is an amazing restaurant worth of a special visit. The food is delicious, the service is impeccable, friendly and funny. You start at the first floor with a sparkling wine and appetizers and then move to the second floor for a meal. The size of the dishes is enormous and everything is very tasty. The wine list is so extensive, so it is just incredibly awesome.

We visited Oxala during our stay in Ovar and it exceeded all expectations. The welcome drinks/appetisers were delicious and different to any experience we’ve had before helped make the meal so special! We then had the tomahawk steak (and took some home as it...was HUGE and a lovely red wine recommended by our host. Thank you!

Wow. Probably one of the best restaurants I've ever visited. While waiting for our table to get ready, a constant flow of food was coming my way, i didn't even know what happened. Prosciutto, champagne, prosciutto, churizzo, and then again... prosciutto. Once the dinner started,...we've ordered a fish platter and a meat platter in that order. Wine and food kept coming. Everything was amazing. Shrimps, seabass, salmon, chateuabriand, fried bananas. What an amazing place and what a night. Really felt like home. Bravo!
