To those who are complaining about the food being salty—you really shouldn’t have chosen Cajun cuisine. It's supposed to be well-seasoned and absolutely delicious. If it’s not for you, that’s okay. And for those who are grumbling about slow service, remember this is a local business, possibly family-owned. I’d gladly wait all day if I knew that’s what I was going to be served! Thank you for the excellent service, atmosphere, and food!

The food was excellent and the staff was wonderful. There aren't many Cajun restaurants in Johnson County, so it was a pleasant surprise to see this one open. I ordered the seafood pasta and my wife chose the blackened chicken, and both dishes were fantastic. They also have an extensive drink selection and tasty appetizers. We visited on a Sunday around noon, but the lunch specials weren’t available that day, which made it a bit pricey without those options.

This restaurant was a charming little gem in Louisiana, beautifully decorated! The staff was friendly, and the concept of pre-made daiquiris was a first for me — and they certainly didn’t skimp on the alcohol! They offer a fantastic variety of daiquiri flavors, and for just $15, you get a cute little milk jug filled with deliciousness. I would have given it 5 stars, but my seafood pasta dish didn’t have the bold flavor I was hoping for. Maybe I’ll try something different next time!

The Overland Park location is closing as of today, 10/15/23. The menu has been trimmed down in light of the closure, yet some items were still unavailable even on the limited selection. Additionally, the restaurant became quite busy after we were seated, and perhaps due to insufficient staffing, the service fell short of expectations.

The customer service was excellent, the food was delicious and served hot. The drinks were spot on. The owner was exceptional. Stop by today for a wonderful hot meal and an even better drink!
