Kyoto Sushi Steak - Overland Park

This restaurant was absolutely mind-blowing! I was shocked; the sushi was so clean, well plated, and absolutely flavorful. The onion soup was light and piping hot, perfect for late November weather. The ginger dressing salad had a wonderful sweetness to it, but not overpowering at all. Fast,friendly service. The chicken katsu is just like we had in Japan.

My favorite place to get sushi. Without a doubt the las vegas rolls always kill it here. I come back here often for most things one the menu you won't be upset by their food quality. They are definitely a bit pricey… Still 10/10.

Meat was a bit overcooked and dry and their fried rice isn't too good, more like steamed rice with a bit of soy sauce thrown in.

A staff member chased us out of the store because she thought we were stealing our to go order?? Literally took the to go order out of our hands to prove it was ours??? Maybe if she was paying attention to the orders then she could have asked us to prove it inside and not outside at night in the street?? I don’t know but like that’s super uncomfortable to accuse people like that? What if we were actually stealing? What was she gonna do about it by herself in the street?
