I asked the hostess several times if the remaining two tables could be placed on our table so that my party is not standing. after 15 minutes our table was not finished. I had to approach the gm so my guests didn't wait. not to mention a group of 6 came for the reservation after me and became in the main dining area (where their place) at a large round table (further to our very small and tightly sealed table near the doors, in winter when their is a brise in the restaurant from the terrace doors. we were waited by a terrible server who only checked our party 3 times total of the nearly 3 hours we were there. we had to sneak other server for our table for simple water. water. not only that, but we had to approach several server and the gm to get a status update on our eating that had been out for almost 2 hours to get out and was cold in it! the brass onion will never get our shielding again, our friends and family will also know about the terrible experience. - the cornbread was dry
I would like to say that eating and waiter cesar was great! overall somewhat disappointed about reservations and sitting opportunities. I had a big party and had to be divided between two tables in different areas. in the future, however, accommodations had previously been made for another big party. if their policy no more than six sit together during the restaurant week why choose and choose who to take place? Beyond that, the restaurant was quiet, but not overcrowded several open tables. manager was a tad rude, but overall everything else was great.
Great place to go. drink. awesome and eating was great. we're coming back!
Always wonderful eating and service. onion dip is excellent.
As always, this was a delightful evening out from the Brass onion dip, salad and gumbo to the double pork chop (cooked perfectly) with the mushroom sauce over yummy mashed potatoes. Dessert not up to rest of the foods standard-carrot cake dryish like it had been cut hours before and left uncovered (a dab of whipped cream would have helped) and same of the Key lime pie, good but we ate them! Our server, Wally, was very attentive. We have eaten here many times and will certainly continue to. PH
