A bigger beer selection would be nice but the tacos were delicious. And, any beer is good with those tacos on the deck overlooking the river. Pleasant place and nice folks.

This place sadly needs a good deep cleaning. The inside is dusty and grimy. The outdoor patio was filthy, a layer of old river cob webs, mildew all over the railings and furniture, old wet and unwelcoming disgusting rugs scattered. Nothing a quick hose couldn't take care of. We waited over 25 minutes for our food. Need more counter help to meet the demand of customers. The Pico was past it's prime, huge chunks of over ripe tomato, very watery and the cilantro was browned. We could not purchase a bottle of water, but were told to use the water provided on the counter, it was warm, no ice available. Silverware was not clean. Everything just needs a good scrub. Comments from the staff about being broke, etc. This is our go to when we are visiting Owego. Sadly, even with the trying economic times, but this feels like the owners have lost the pride in their facility. They have a prime location with an amazing riverside view, it's a shame.

When the attitude of the counter person is poor, that should be your first indication to run... Sadly, I didn't, and it only went downhill. I've been here before, but I think there must be new owners or management.. The food is DEFINITELY NOT the same quality or flavor (if you can find any) as in years past.. Over $40 for stuff thrown at you in paper bowls and baskets, then you bus your own table,,,, Exactly why does the staff ask for a tip prior to serving you anything?? Mind you we tipped when we placed the order, as I'm sure if you didn't, your stuff would be floor scrapings then plated, but at this moment, I know for certain I will not return. Sad really, decent little setting, but the food is seriously lacking, and the counter person is not ideal.. Everyone has bad days, but this seems to be the norm with this person. I wish I was the only to say this, but there are many other reviews on other sites that say the same thing... Wish I had read them before wasting $40+

The food did the job, filled up my husband and I until tomorrow. If you haven’t had authentic Mexican tacos these are fine I guess. My husband found a long hair wrapped around his entire burrito which was lovely. I found the tortillas that are used to make the tacos authentic, the masa had a good consistency. Kind of disappointed as this place is ‘hyped’ up online.
