Quality Inn Suites - Owego

Love staying here when I'm in town. Great view of the river. Breakfast was only waffles, yogurt, cereal and apples. Could really use at least some type of toast and maybe sausage.

Checked in 10/10. Room smelled like hot boxed cigarettes. Completely dirty. Was told by front desk they won't be cleaning rooms until Wednesday 10/12. Reminded them to clean my room and told them about stuff I found in the room. They made the beds and changed the towels. That is about it.

The saying goes it is what it is. Don't expect the 4 seasons or kapinski. We were greeted by a very pleasant desk manager who tried his best to get us a room that we liked. I believe his name was Ra.imond. In point of fact when we Arrived we were in quite a bind. We originally made plans to stay at the Best Western next door. It was beyond unacceptable the door did not have a lock and there was a door between 2 rooms that could not be locked. So we went next door to the Quality Inn. Apparently they did not have the greatest write ups But we gave the quality inn a chance. In fact we decided to get a suite at the Quality Inn. Is it more than served our purpose. I gladly would recommend it but you get what you pay for. Hopefully they will upgrade it soon.

Overall it got the job done. The staff were friendly and the main areas were clean. The pool was closed. The rooms were very pricey. The room had used and empty toiletries. There hair dryer was dangling from the wall. There was visible urine on the floor and soiling in the tub and shower chair. However, the view was beautiful and the bed was comfortable.

I was very satisfied with my room. I liked sitting outside watching the river at night. Hotel was very clean smelling. I enjoyed my stsy.
