Captain John's Fish & Chips

This place is now closed. It is replaced by Sail restaurant and catering. Must try that restaurant. Food is really good.

Twice since July 2nd we have ordered an the fish was raw not cooked this place is not as good as it used to be I used to order every Friday I will NEVER ORDER AGAIN!!

Great place to quickly grab takeout in between hikes! Their 2 piece fish and chips combo is huge, enough for 2 hungry adults. The fish was great, I wasn’t a huge fan of fries, but my dad loved them. Lots of condiments (which we didn’t notice at first as they were at the bottom of our bag under the food). Friendly and polite staff. Definitely a place to go if you’re tired of big chain comfort food.

Nice little place with good food and good prices. We have been here at least 3 times when travelling to Owen Sound this summer.
