Contribuisci feedbackI waited for 15 minutes for a black coffee, only to have cream added to it. The customers were also rude at the McDonald's on 1960-16th Street in Owen Sound.
The breakfast at this restaurant was delicious, as always, and our server was extremely friendly and helpful. However, I was very disappointed to discover that I needed to ask for permission to use the bathroom after making my way all the way to the back of the restaurant. It felt like I was in a sketchy neighborhood in New York City, not in Owen Sound, Ontario.
To the manager and employees of this McDonald's, please clean the bathrooms. During my last visit, the state of the bathrooms was incredibly unsanitary. The sink was covered in brown and black dirt, the toilet was overflowing with paper, and there was toilet paper and paper towels scattered all over the floor. The garbage was overflowing and the floor was sticky and disgusting. Multiple people sitting at tables agreed with me, as did those who had already been in the restroom. Despite living half an hour away, I chose not to use the facilities due to how gross they were. As someone who works at a fast food establishment, I know that cleaning a bathroom is not a difficult task. It only requires a bit of time and effort, and it greatly improves the experience for customers, making them happier and more comfortable.

The service at this McDonald’s is some of the worst service I’ve ever experienced at a fast food restaurant.I was asked to park to wait for my food and normally this wouldn’t be an issue expect for the fact I sat for 20 minutes and watched probably 15 other cars parked after me get their food. When I asked an employee what was taking so long I was met with confusion and told they would see what was going on. She then returned with more food.. again for every other car but my own. When she approached me again she the proceeded to ask me if I was a mobile order. I was NOT. She went inside one more time and when she returned again to give every other car their food but myself, I had finally had enough.I went inside, mind you extremely frustrated at this point as I had been waiting 30 minutes for my food and was on a lunch break at work. When I asked to speak to a manager, it took almost another 5 minutes for one to finally come and talk to me.I told the manager I had been waiting 30 minutes, parked, for my food. I was AGAIN met with confusion. I told her my order, She then proceeded to tell me me she had nothing on her screen or in her bin for my order. She THEN had the nerve to ask if I had paid. Clearly YES as I had been parked and was given my drink. She told the kitchen staff my order to remake.When I finally got my food after 40 minutes of waiting at this point the only thing I was offered was a free donut. The attitude after such terrible customer service was one of the most insane experiences I have ever had.So after my 40 minute wait to get my food, I return to work to find out that they had gotten my order WRONG.I will NEVER visit this McDonald’s again or any in the Owen Sound area. The customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced and it continues to be the worst. This is not my first time having a wrong order, missing item, or waiting 20+ minutes for my food at one of these locations.A serious internal review needs to be had for not only this location but all of the McDonald’s in Owen Sound and surrounding areas.Do not waste your time dealing with this terrible staff and customer service.
