54 Pizza Express - Owensboro

Yesterday we had a family celebration for my husband's birthday. We are a family of pizza lovers who do not live in Owensboro; but we came to Owensboro to celebrate the birthday. I have a Google search for 'best pizza in Owensboro' and 54 Pizza Express came in the answer. I'm so glad it was! I called and asked if they could take a party from 12 to 6:00. They forced and let me tell you the pizzas, pasta, Stromboli and grilled chicken salad were delicious. The service was quick and friendly. We will definitely return. We ate at the Alvy Park Drive site and it was busy with takeout orders, but their liveliness has not affected our experience at all!

Best pizza on the east side of town!! Try their breadstix with baked cheese... YUM!

This place is always delicious everytime I have the opportunity to swing by. I usually devour my sandwich as soon as I get it in my hands but wanted to focus on the ride home an hour away so figured I'd wait to eat at home. Got home and it was still amazing an hour after being in the car. It was still warm. Saved the other half for the next day and after being reheated it was like I had just ordered it. Amazing place. Great food. Always delicious. Never fails.

Top notch ingredients makes great tasting food. I usually enjoy a Chicken, Bacon, and Ranch sub and it is delicious! Sweet tea is passable.
