Colby's Fine Food & Spirits - Owensboro

Stopped here while visiting town and was so happy we chose this as the place to eat. We were there shortly after opening and seated fairly quickly. Our waitress was so pleasant and gave us just the right amount of time to look at menues. She answered questions and advised us of specials. I got the shrimp appetizer which was DELICIOUS, So much flavor! I also got the mushroom and shrimp dip and it was also delicious. My husband got the fries and chicken strips and he said they were very good as well. Our drinks never ran empty! Overall very satisfied with the location, taste of food and service.

First time visit here and I look forward to my next visit. I started with a house salad with homemade buttermilk ranch. For the entree, I had the special of the day which was Chicken jambalaya. It was not too spicy and was very flavorful. A little on the salty side though. To finish I had the banana cream pie. You won't leave here hungry. Must visit restaurant.

I had 4 different wait staff visit the table due to my original waitress not paying attention. My Alfredo was cold and the noodles were over cooked. I did love the key lime pie and the style of restaurant. They over charged my card for a tip amount I did not sign for. I will not be coming back. So not worth the hype that they are given.

Was there thirty minutes and very few patrons. Our table was ready for ten minutes. Asked how much longer was told waitress wasn't ready. We left to patronize business who wants customers .

First time eating here. Service was great. Did was awesome!
