Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Owensboro

I placed a large order over the phone, and Anthony handled it with great efficiency. He assured me that my order would be ready in a timely manner. When I arrived to pick it up, I was impressed to see Anthony managing the restaurant like a well-oiled machine. He personally helped pack my order and made sure everything was correct. The food was fresh and delicious. I served it to around 20 employees, and they all enjoyed it tremendously. Later, Anthony even called me to check if the food was good and if I was satisfied with the service. I rate Anthony and his team a solid 10/10. They were quick, professional, and delivered exceptional food. Great job all around! I will definitely be ordering again.

My husband ordered the spicy strips, and he said they were fantastic. They had the perfect amount of heat and were served hot. The fries and biscuits are always outstanding here. If you haven't tried their biscuits yet, you're truly missing out. You should go right now; it will definitely be worth the trip!

Popeyes was fantastic! My order was ready as soon as I pulled up to the window, and the chicken sandwich was incredibly delicious—definitely one of the best chicken sandwiches you can find at a fast food restaurant.

I ordered two fish sandwiches and two fries. The order was confirmed back to us at both the speaker and the pickup window. However, when we got home, we found that we only received one fish sandwich and a chicken sandwich instead. In the past, I've had chicken from there that was tough and dry, making me think it had been cooked the day before. I refuse to order chicken from there again. The food and service are both lacking; honestly, I can cook better chicken myself. Additionally, I specifically asked for fries with no salt, and the staff told me they don’t season their fries. However, when we got home, they were covered in seasonings. Clearly, he doesn't understand what "no salt" means. I do not recommend Popeyes Chicken.

I found it quite interesting during my wait for food to imagine that it must have taken quite a journey for the chicken to arrive at my table – from hatching to growing, then slaughtering, and finally cooking. That was the only thing that made the lengthy wait somewhat acceptable. To add to the experience, the server who brought our food completely forgot our drinks. I could blame it on my father for not reminding us, but I don't like to make excuses. Overall, this place feels like a waste of space. Honestly, it's the worst restaurant I've ever been to, and I genuinely love Popeyes.
