It's an open plan with good views of the pizza oven and the kitchen. We split the calimari appetizer. There was enough for both of us. It came with an aoli sauce rather than marinara sauce. The aoli sauce was good, but I asked for marinara sauce, and our server brought out an excellent marina sauce with chunky pieces of tomato. The calimari was well prepared and tender. I had Melanzane alla Parmigiana (eggplant parmesan). It was crisp, firm and tasty. They normally serve it over pasta, but I requested that they serve mine over asparagus. They did. They didn't do what most Italian restaurants do, which is to cover the eggplant with sauce and melted cheese. Instead, they bought the marina sauce on the side and grafted parmesan cheese on the top. It was fine that way. My wife had chicken Marsala served over ricotta ravioli and broccolini. Her meal was also excellent. For dessert, we split a pistachio gelato with crisp little balls of chocolate. Perfect. Then, our server offered us a complimentary digestif, a limoncello. I'm not sure if I spelled that correctly, but it was very good. I recommend this place for anyone who likes Italian food and doesn't want to schlep all the way to little Italy.
Delicious food and a fantastic happy hour! While I wasn't a fan of the carbonara, I absolutely loved the shrimp scampi. The mussels were excellent and a generous portion for the price. I recommend ordering extra bread to enjoy with the mussels. The seating is spacious and comfortable, and there's plenty of parking available since the restaurant is located in a large shopping center.
Wow! The food here was fantastic! The beef stole the show for me—I couldn't get enough of it! I was a little let down to find out that the brunch doesn't offer a bottomless option, but the food was so delicious that I overlooked that. The service was also excellent. The first mimosa is complimentary, and you just pay for each additional glass.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant with excellent service and a great atmosphere. The food was superb every time we visited. The walk-up café offers quick bites, and I really appreciated the variety in their breakfast menu. I haven't tried the gelato yet, but the tiramisu and limoncello bar were outstanding. The prices are in line with slightly upscale Italian restaurants, but the quality and selection definitely surpass the alternatives in the area, so I find it completely justified.
I absolutely adore the digital menu! It's incredibly impressive. The food was pretty good as well. The meatball appetizer was fantastic, especially the sauce. The pizza was excellent, crust included. The classic sangria was just as beautiful as it was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place!
