I'm happy to say that I didn't let some of the negative reviews influence my experience. We tried the chicken and beef suya with jollof rice and a chicken cake. It was my first time trying West African cuisine, and I found it to be delicious! I preferred the chicken over the beef, but I will definitely be returning for a spicier order next time!
Be prepared for a wait, depending on what time you go, as they are quite popular—and for good reason! They serve authentic Nigerian cuisine. Even if you're not a fan of spicy food, I urge you to give it a try (I'm not a big fan of spicy foods myself, but it’s definitely worth it). We sat in their private room next to the main dining area, where they play live African music and have a bar. Suya Spot is a wonderful place to hang out with friends, go on a date, or host an event. I can’t wait to go back!
Stop! this is perhaps the worst culinary experience I've ever had. are very, very small and not very good. the kitchen should learn how to use seasoned. the prices are extremely high for what they get and to complete it, they calculate an automatic 15% size to eat. the happiness might have been in order if we had not to remind them of the one person in our party of 3, whose meal they never brought out. this place really deserves 0 stars.
Update: I wrote this review just a couple of hours after dining there, and unfortunately, all of us ended up with food poisoning later that night and the next day.
