Durban Spice - Oxford

Oh wow! My partner (who recently grew up near Durban) and I went to Durban Spice for a night out and were absolutely amazed. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect; we felt incredibly welcomed and comfortable from the moment we walked in. A big thanks to Shabs and Sarah for a fantastic evening, and for being so careful with my nut allergy. We will definitely be back.

The evening was beautiful, the welcome was warm, and the food was fantastic with detailed descriptions for every dish. Highly recommended.

The food at this restaurant was seriously fantastic, and the host was the best I've ever encountered. I highly recommend dining here again - it was truly divine.

Our second time at durban spice, the first precovid (two years ago) the greeting of sarah and shabs was as warm as ever and the eating that is to form was from this world (the man knows how to be packed in the scrub and sarahs desserts are delicious) ds is a 2 1/2 hours drive for us, but every minute we want to see ourselves in the aprivid.

We’ve had takeaway food from Shabs a few times and loved the food each time! Always super flavourful curries, and very good portion sizes. Really worth trying them for supper club or takeaway, you won’t be disappointed!
