Keepers Kitchen - Oxford

After reading some negative reviews, I must say that despite the lackluster service I've experienced at this establishment over the years, the staff has never been rude. The food can be a bit slow, but surprisingly, it's always good and the atmosphere is cheerful. On my recent visit, the fish and chips were delicious (though the chips were a bit thick for my liking), and the prawn linguine was well-prepared and served hot. We ended our meal with a unique dessert, the rocky road sundae or chocolate bombe, which was presented in a creative way resembling a plant pot filled with "soil" (which was actually delicious chocolate). The caramel sauce was a standout. Give it a try, you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Good food, but not exactly cheap. I only saw two waiters, one of which was also working behind the bar, but they managed to kept up on a Friday evening, with a smile, on a Friday. Well done!

We had your birthday celebration at keepers, enjoyed the cocktails and the food. the best place to be in town. Highly Recommended.

I absolutely adore the welcoming atmosphere at this restaurant. The staff members are so kind and provide excellent service. We recently celebrated a friend's 40th birthday there and everything was perfect. The food was delicious and the staff even went above and beyond to decorate with banners and balloons. I cannot wait to return with my girlfriends. This place is truly special!

We had a really lovely dinner here! Nice selection of food everyone would enjoy (pizza, burgers, salads, pasta). Staff were really friendly and smily and very accommodating. Really nice decor and cool interior. Prices reasonable too. Can recommend the keepers rum! Only reason I knocked off a star was that we were practically the only table at 7.30pm on a Saturday … honestly couldn’t say why as we were more than pleased with cleanliness, quality, choice, price and staff. But the lack of diners didn’t make for a great ambience. However, I’d book again without hesitation. Come on people, go to this great place to eat!
