Considering basic decor and very cheap lunchtime price, we were not expecting the deliciously fresh, simple meal of clear soup and stuffed bun. Restored our faith in Oxford’s oriental fayre after a very disappointing meal in a town centre pub the night before.
In short: one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The chicken teriyaki was microwave blasted and dryer than the Sahara desert all served in a flimsy plastic container (we were sitting down) at a whopping price of £8.99. I've walked past this place several times and noticed that it's almost always empty, dimly lit, and generally soulless, so I really should have known. I'm honestly surprised that they've managed to stay in that location for so long. Avoid at all costs.
This is, by far, the worst food experience I've ever had in Oxford. I could bet it the meal had been microwaved. The ingredients were dry and the sauce was clearly from the supermarket bottle. (I can do it much better without much effort). I paid almost 9 pounds. Very pricey for the quality and for the quantity. I don't recommend it.
Ordered a beef noodle soup for about £6. For this they just stuck a ready made meal in the microwave, and they served it in the same flimsy plastic bowl. Was the worst tasting beef I've had in a long time. Went with two other friends who also thought their meals were overpriced and terrible.
