Posh Fish - Oxford

We went for a sit down meal on a Friday afternoon. There was a pleasant welcome and a wide selection. We had the cod roe with jacket potato and salad; and the double halloumi burger. Both were delicious, washed down with a cold beer. Would return.

This restaurant offers the best all-day breakfast with freshly cooked dishes and a friendly staff. The atmosphere is very clean, nice, and relaxing, perfect for dining in or taking away.

Brought a kebab, when i opened the box, I scooped out 3 desert spoons worth of fat! The pita bread wasn't cut open or even warmed up, just dripped with fat, like a sponge in water. Since new owners took over, the quality of the food has gone rapidly down hill. This used to be a takeaway that once won awards for the quality of its food and customer service, the best in Oxford! Now it has to be one of the worst.

Went to Posh fish yesterday for takeaway large fish and chips for my Sons birthday the fish although was describe as large was a average fillet covered in thick uncooked batter basically too.much batter this had been dipped.in the batter and put straight in the fryer without letting the excess batter off before frying So onto the chips these were.greasy alongside the fish but in addition not cooked.for long enough I would not recommend anybody to go to this fish and chip shop as the name.relates nothing to the food produced no attention to any detail as to the simple task.of deep.frying fish and chips

Wow, this restaurant served one of the best fish and chips we've had in years! We stopped by after visiting the Nuffield, even though it was almost 8pm and they were busy with takeout orders. The staff happily accommodated us for dining in. We ordered a large cod, chips, and curry sauce, which was more than enough for two people - we had never seen a cod that big! The batter was light, fluffy, and golden, and the chips were also excellent. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Thank you! We will definitely be returning.
