Contribuisci feedbackWhen we arrived they greeted me and my husband with dirty looks. Asked if they had a table free which they took us down stairs. When there was tables free upstairs. We decided to leave and went to gin gin which we had brilliant service.
We have been visiting this fantastic restaurant for over 14 years. It used to be brilliant: delicious food, great service, gluten free menu, kids menu. It is now under new management and all the above has gone. We sat down, received a frosty reception, requested the GF menu and kids menus and were told they are no longer available. As a coeliac the GF menu made ordering so easy. My boys used to love the kids bento boxes, both are now gone. The lighting was also so bright that we felt like we were being interrogated! The new menu has no GF options or advice. We left without ordering. We won't be returning. Such a shame as this place used to be so friendly and welcoming.
Waited to be seated but gave the seat to the group behind us without saying anything. We got seated and gave us the food menu. Me and my friends waited for 20 minutes and tried so hard to get there attention Very disappointed! They were busy on take away order and ignore us! They shouldn 't just keep on taking take away order and ignoring eat in customer! They didn’t even manage to get our order after 25 minutes from being sat down! but didn 't tell us that we have to wait longer than usual! What kind of staff is that? At the same time we have a couple who sat beside our table that arrived before us! got served and food came After 10mins from they arrived and seated! What a joke!!! Staff were rude! Service? Cant even rate is as there isn’t any service at all! I 've been to lots of Chinese restaurant and this is the worst experience ever! I will never go back and higly dis recommend other to visit Red Star Noodlebar in Oxford!!!
Made an order for delivery. Rider arrived telling me that the restaurant had contacted them to say they had given him the wrong order. Poor guy was really apologetic and helpful. Contacted the tester ant to re-order. They finally delivered but only delivered one items from a large list of things I’d ordered. Called the restaurant who were incredibly unhelpful and rude and at one point hung up on me when they couldn’t understand what had gone wrong. Ended up with no food. Worst experience I’ve had with a restaurant
Good east asian food at a good price. My partner is of chinese heritage so appreciates places such as this which offer a wider menu with some more traditional options on it. We've also had takeaways from here which have always been excellent too.
