The Crown - Oxford

Typical high street Oxford pub. About half the tables and seating were taken during our visit. Food was pub standard and in quantity and affordable. Atmosphere was quiet and welcoming. Staff were polite and helpful and the beer was up to expectations.

Hidden treasure! Superb traditional pub tucked away but in the centre of Oxford. Great atmosphere, choice of good ales, and superb pub grub at sensible prices. Wish I'd found it on previous visits to Oxford!

Didn't expect to find a pub like this in the centre of Oxford! Tucked away and easy to miss, it's well worth finding if you enjoy good beer, superb traditional pub food, excellent service, and decent prices! Have never had a better ham, egg and chips meal! Only discovered it by chance, but will definitely come again when we return to Oxford!

This is a nice pub in the downtown area of Oxford offering decent food and drinks.

Delicious fish and chips, chicken salad was also great. the baked Mac and cheese stole my son's heart
