Mazatlan Of Oxford

I was just passing through and decided to make a stop here. I'm quite particular about my food and especially my Mexican cuisine, but this place exceeded all my expectations! The food was excellent, the service was impeccable, and it had a warm, homey atmosphere. I highly recommend stopping by!

This was my first and last visit to this restaurant. The service was good, but the food didn't suit my tastes. It had a flavor that seemed like lard, which I personally dislike. While they offer a wide variety of items on their menu, I couldn't find anything that appealed to me. They don't have hard shell tacos, either. They seem to be quite popular, so it's clear that many people enjoy their food, but unfortunately, I'm not one of them.

I had the worst experience at this Mexican restaurant. I spent $50 on three separate orders of steak and shrimp fajitas, and they only provided one bag of chips with salsa. In any other Mexican restaurant, you usually get a bag of chips for each order, and charges are typically around 50 cents per bag. I found this very disrespectful. If it were possible, I wouldn’t even give them one star. I was shocked when they offered to refund my money just because I asked where my extra chips were. Normally, I would receive three bags of chips without question. To make matters worse, the food was served on Styrofoam plates that melted through the bag, which is extremely unprofessional.

You get a lot of food for your money spent! Authentic Mexican Food served here. Everything was tasty-got chicken quesadillas, taquitos, nachos, beef tips, rice, beans, and tornado. Spent low $30 for all of this(probably left something out)!

Did a large order today for ten to go. The fajitas were not seasoned and tasted like it was leftovers. The rice was horrible. The sour cream was runny and the guacamole had started changing colors like it was old. The salsa they gave us was just tomato sauce. This restaurant has gone down in the quality of food that they are serving. The staff are rude. I will never eat at this restaurant again! If you want go food please look elsewhere because you will not get it here.
