Hate to say the waitress apologized several times for not being very attentive. I am glad I went once and won’t go back.Update response: I ate on a Tuesday and filled out the review after the fact. That’s how I was able to fill out a response on a “Monday” after I visited there. Second, I had the Village Salad, with both chicken and gyro. I grew up on authentic Greek food and in my experience, this food lacked flavor. Further, the gyro meat was mushy, and the chicken was good and tasted like chicken, just not very flavorful. I’m sorry if this review upset you and/or was met with a defensive response. I was just being honest and sharing my tastebud’s opinion.
Got seated immediately on a busy Saturday evening. No wait! The 3 dip appetizer was a really yummy shareable dish. Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because when my dinner came out, my fish was cold. Plus the restaurant itself is pretty expensive. Overall a very good option.
We had a wonderful catering experience with OPA! We ordered Chicken Gyro Rice Bowls, Falafel Wraps, and Cottage Fries. The tzatziki sauce was prepared separately as requested and that made the experience even better. The order was delivered on time and everything tasted great! It’s just that they charge for tableware/utensils per person unlike other restaurants in town.
Great food, way better than the other greek restaurant in town. They actually marinate their chicken and the tzaziki isn 't runny! As close to authentic as you 'll get in Mississippi. They have a really nice cocktail/bar and outside patio area.Edit: two years later and the quality has gone wayyyyyyyyy down. One word to describe the food for the price is ehh . Lackluster for sure.
Ordered 2 gyros only prob I had was there was barely any sauce on them maybe a half teaspoon between both. 1st order last order.
