Panaderia Vanessa - Oxnard

This is one of my all time favorite places to get some Mexican bread. Their prices are a bit on the higher end even if they are worth it I don’t think they should be that high. They have breakfast burritos, my favorite is chicharron, I do wish it had more meat instead of just the skin but they are still tasty. Their bread is always really good and tasty and if you go early enough you can catch them when it barely came out of the oven and it’s nice and hot. I’ve never had any problems with the staff, they seem to be nice. Staff Price Point Cleanliness Atmosphere Food

Just tried their spicy chicken mexican pizza and absolutely loved it! The sauce on top takes it to another level. A big thank you to Rosie!!!

A little unexpected to go to a bakery to get tamales, but I heard good things about this place and they were right! I'm definitely coming back for more of these! They were out of the cheese jalapeno tamales, but I got one puerco (pork) and one pollo (chicken). They are $2.50/each. The sign is a little confusing because out makes it look like that's the price-per-pound for tamales. Actually, $2.50 is also the price (per pound) for masa.

Yummy bread. Big Bread. Vanessa's is the place to go. For tasty Mexican sweet bread.

Best place to go get a snack or lunch really fresh n worth the wait.
