Sea Fresh - Oxnard

First off, make sure to check that they got your order right when you pick up your food for take out. They messed my order up, and then it took a very long time to get it right. I stopped in for some fish and chips, and it was fantastic. The breading was super light and crispy, and the fish tasted very fresh, and wasn't mushy. I upgraded to truffle fries, and they have a very nice flavor. The steamed veggies were also very fresh, and the tartar sauce was perfect. There is tons of seating, inside and outside, and you are right on the dock, so you can hear sea gulls and sea lions--it is really peaceful. I came on a Saturday around 7:45pm, and it was pretty packed. The service is hit or miss. Some employees are really nice and others are not.

This place is fantastic! Their fish n' chips was outstanding. The staff here is very friendly, service was excellent. Inside and outside dining a bar. I can't wait to go back. The views of the Channel Islands Harbor were great. Excellent place to take a date. Their prices were very reasonable.

The freshness of the salmon and how well it was cooked, were pleasant surprises (even for a seafood place by the water). The friendly service, quality of food, and waterfront view were all very enjoyable. Prices were reasonable for local seafood. The establishment was well-kept, spotlessly clean, and frequently sanitized by staff. Having so many options on just the condensed menu made ordering time-consuming.

The food here is very good! Packed full of flavor and cooked to perfection. My wife order the fish and chips. I had the clam chowder and captains special which is three pieces of fried fish and five pieces of fried shrimp. The breading was so light and not greasy. As I took my first bites it all just melted in my mouth and instantly put a smile on my face. The clam chowder was so tasty and smooth. My wife and I have instantly fallen in love with this place. We cannot wait to come back.

The cashier assured us that everything on the menu was great, and she wasn't wrong! We tried the fish and shrimp combo, the fish and chips, a side of clam chowder, and their buffalo wings, and everything was fantastic! It operates like a fast food restaurant, where a buzzer alerts you when your order is ready for pickup at the counter. Each dish was delicious, including the coleslaw and all the sauces. We will definitely be returning!
