Yankee Doodle Bakery - Oxnard

Bought bran muffins at the Ventura Farmers Market, and they are the best bran muffins I have ever eaten. Great mixture of honey and brown sugar, butter, whole wheat flour, bran, pineapple and raisins. Wow. Highly recommend them.

I found the Yankee Doodle Bakery company while I was shopping at a farmer 's market in Ojai. I knew exactly what I wanted, because my mother brought back a package to share with everyone a few weeks prior. Their Mexican Wedding Cake cookies!!! These were the most AMAZING cookies I have ever eaten!!! (Sorry Mom) I have tried the 'Mexican wedding cake cookie ' before, and it does not compare to this company 's cookie! I don 't rave about sweets very often, because I 'm not easily impressed with baked goods, but this cookie takes the cake! I will definitely come visit the store in Oxnard to restock.
