Bond 45 National Harbor - Oxon Hill

My first experience at this restaurant was extraordinary. We visited to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary, and everything—from the food to the atmosphere to the service—was fantastic. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

I liked the variety of options on the menu but the food itself lacked a depth of flavor and one person in our party received their food cold. In addition the desserts were mediocre even though the portions were more than generous. The temperature control was also warm and at times stifling which could have been because of the outdoor seating but we were not comfortable and found the outdoors much more comfy.

The service was inconsistent; our server disappeared for thirty minutes, which caused confusion with our food and drink orders. My ribeye steak was cooked extremely rare when I had requested it medium. I couldn’t eat it, and requesting a replacement wasn’t possible due to the lack of service. It seemed that the restaurant was understaffed.

It was incredible! I ordered the lamb chops, and they were cooked to perfection. The staff was outstanding! I will definitely be back.
