All of the decors around this restaurant are authentic Chinese. Loved it! The dishes were basically Americanized. We liked the eggplant a lot. Our waitress seemed to have had a bad day- no smile throughout our meal and often frowned. I didn’t like that we were charged a 18% gratuity when the bill was presented to us- we are not a six-people party. Overall this place is overpriced, but everything around the national harbor area is overpriced.
My only complaint is it was very warm inside the restaurant but other that the food was tasty and fresh
Visiting National Harbor on a work trip. Stayed at the Gaylord and decided to try Grace's Mandarin as it was just across the hotel. The place was very nice. We chose to seat outdoors as it was a nice day and the view was fantastic!Ordered a couple of Goose Idland IPAs. For food, we ordered Cantonese Tiger Beef and Kowloon Crispy Pork. What do I like best with Grace's Mandarin? The ambience and the view. What about the food? Well... it missed the Wow factor... I walked in and thought I'd get great food but alas, I did not...The bill immediately adds 18% gratuity.Would I come back? Apologies, I think not... .#oxonhill #Maryland #crispypork #kowloon #crispypork #mediocre #outoftowner #worktravel #worktravellife #socalweekendwalkarounds #yelp #yelpelite #yelpelitesquad #april2024 #pinoyfoodie
Grace’s Has went downhill. The front desk girl was rude and on her phone and never even told us about the happy hour. Then the GM said she would honor the happy hour drinks and did not. Will not be coming back again. Expensive food but low budget service.
