This place is NOT budget-friendly in any way, but it is to be expected when you visit the MGM! I paid $34 for a record. I ordered the Crab Cake plate and the waiter asked if I had the frits on the crabs (my first thought), so I said of course. We waited about 5 minutes for our food and we ate it there. Everything was delicious! The sauce on the crabs was the runner star of the plate next to the amazingly tasting crab ball! I would definitely eat there as long as I win on the black Jack table! The frits were hot and the sauce was warm, but the crab meat was definitely cold, that somehow threw me away, but it was still good!
The food was really good, portions were a little small and it was too expensive. I'd probably get back the crabs with the French french fries with crab meats they were delicious. I think they're called crabs. Make sure you bring your American Express. You'll need it. Pricey! Inside MGM!
This place might not look like your typical spot for the best crabcakes that a Maryland native could hope for, but surprisingly, it truly delivers. The jumbo lump crab meat is expertly held together with minimal filler, creating an impressive balance. The flavor is outstanding, and the price is quite reasonable: $20 for a sandwich served on a soft brioche bun, accompanied by lightly seasoned Old Bay fries, sauce, tomato, lettuce, and a delicious bit of coleslaw. They also offer several great beer options. After tasting this, I’m not sure I’ll be tempted to try any other food in the casino because I find myself craving this crabcake sandwich! This was my second visit, and once again, the food was excellent. Having enjoyed crabcakes at numerous Maryland restaurants over the last four decades—from casual shacks to upscale dining—I'm confident this place has the best I’ve ever had, and at one of the most affordable prices. It's definitely worth a try, so don't be deterred by its simple food court setting! If you see a line, just remember: it's worth the wait.
I had a fantastic sandwich that I shared along with crab cakes and shrimp salad. It was on the pricier side, but it was a fun experience to share the meal.
