Sat outside and was comfortable with the warm fire beside our table. Absolutely fantastic pasta.. Caico e Pepe and Linguini with clams. Superb. Nice drinks, but 17 dollars in a Long Island parking lot is almost comical.. guarantee the tables would be filled nightly with a very generous drink incentive. Place settings were cute and trendy, bread could use an overhaul and if it must be served prior to the arrival of food, consider offering another piece to accompany the main course for dipping. Very nice dining experience during challenging times. Excellent service.
The food was tasty and presentation was pretty but portions tiny. The ambiance was nice.Nice date spot but not really for family gatherings. But, try it for any occasion. I am all for supporting the local spots. My family of five enjoyed the taste--albeit we were all hungry by the time we got home.
Let me break it down for you. This restaurant has a limited menu, expensive prices, and small portions. The chef, who is also the owner, serves fresh pastas and unique interpretations of traditional dishes. The kale salad was large enough to share, but I was disappointed that it only had cheese and Caesar dressing. The water served was room temperature, the dishes were overly salty, and there was a heavy hand with the butter (especially in the clam sauce). After being open for 4 or 5 years, it may be time for a menu refresh.
Amazing! Great service and absolutely delicious food. Pea soup was a wonderful delight. Everything was perfect, and special requests were accommodated when possible.
