Hong Kong Inn - Ozark

NEVER EVER AGAIN! I have been twice. Both time thru the drive thru. They didn't get the order right and I had to go in and pay for the food I didnt receive. Plus they took back the food I did get that was wrong with no refund. Also wouldnt give me a reciiept .In the long run I ended up paying for their mistakes. By the time I got home food was cold. It was a shame for them and my family.

My family and I have ordered food from this restaurant for years typically using the drive thru. The food is great but we have had a lot of problems getting all of our items with our order. The most common thing that gets left out is the condiments. Recently we place a fairly large food order in the drive thru and I when I got home I realized we didn 't get our duck sauce which is very important to my family. So my husband drove back to the restaurant and went inside to let them know what had happened and that this seems to be a regular occurrence. The two young workers in the front were very courteous and kept saying how sorry they were. But when the young gentleman went to talk to the manager my husband could hear her going off in the kitchen area about how he was wrong because she remembered putting it in our bag of food. Apparently she was being rather rude about it so my husband asked that she come up front to speak to him. The woman came up front where she yelled at my husband repeatedly saying she had put the duck sauce in the bag and he was not getting anymore. She also kept putting her hands in his face. There were other customers in the restaurant, including children, so my husband kept his cool. But the woman was throwing such a fit that two other groups of people who were waiting in line left the restaurant. One gentleman told her he would never come back if she treated her customers that way and she responded by saying, Good, don 't come back! . So my husband told her we would never be back and she had the same response for him. My husband eventually left the restaurant because he knew he was getting no where. The two teenagers working up front were mortified and kept apologizing. My husband made sure to grab a handful of the FREE duck sauce sitting on the counter as he walked out the door. We will never go back!

So my man went back to the restaurant and went in to let them know what had happened and that this seems to be a regular event. the two young workers at the front were very polite and repeatedly said how sorry they were. but when the young man talked to the manager, my man could hear how he went out in the kitchen area, because she remembered bringing it into our pocket. obviously she was quite rude about it, so my man asked that she would come up before him to talk to him. the woman came in front of where she thought she was screaming and said she put the guts in the pocket and he was no longer. she also put her hands in the face. there were other customers in the restaurant, including children, so my man kept his cool. but the woman was so fit that two other groups of men waiting in the line leave the restaurant. a gentleman told her he would never come back when she treated her customers on this wise and she answered by saying, good, don't come back! . my man told her we were never back and she had the same answer for him. my man finally left the restaurant because he knew he wasn't there. the two teenagers working in front were destroyed and apologised. my man made sure to grab a handful of the free dungeon sitting on the counter when he went out of the door. We will never go back!
