Lucy's Chinese Food - Ozark

Friendly staff, delicious food, and excellent takeout containers. I didn't need to request any sauces. They also offer gluten-free options! Prices are a bit high for Chinese food, though.

They are very friendly people, and the prices are reasonable. The portions are large as well.

The portion sizes are small for the price. The food doesn't taste too bad, but I've had better. I ordered the General Chicken.

I have never experienced service like this before. I found a maggot in my food, which is completely unacceptable. This level of unsanitary conditions means I will never return to this restaurant.

However, the portion sizes were quite small. If this is considered a full order, I can't even imagine what a half portion looks like. Each serving cost $10.25, which feels a bit steep for the amount of food. The fried rice was somewhat plain, though not necessarily bad. It seemed to be made with eggs, onions, and ham, which I thought was a bit unusual but still acceptable. I really enjoyed the sweet and sour sauce, though! The chicken was decent, although some pieces had an odd texture. The cashew sauce tasted good as well, but it was really thin, making it difficult for it to cling to the chicken. It's not my favorite cashew chicken sauce. All in all, I had a fairly enjoyable dinner, but considering the price relative to the portion size, I doubt I'll be returning unless I'm specifically craving their sweet and sour sauce.
