Bagel Kitchen - Pacific Grove

If you miss this place, you haven’t experienced Monterey right. These bagels destroy the former bagel bakery that it replaced. I’ve been coming here for years and now that the navy has taken me away from this place. Any chance I get to come back I have to visit the best damn bagel shop in the peninsula. The owner took great pride in replacing the kitchen with equipment used solely in New York and went the distance with having a filter put in to even making the water as spot on as possible with the special filters put in. Definitely a place to stop while in town.

Bagels were fresh. Sandwiches were full of fresh ingredients. The cream cheese was oozing out.

Pleasantly surprised to find a high quality bagel stop which was reasonably priced and tasted great. Got the heart attack bagel which had a hot link, bacon

The Asiago Pesto bagel is the right choice, in case you weren’t sure. I filled mine with a BELT (bacon, egg, lettuce tomato) and added cheese avocado. It was delicious! Quick service friendly staff too.

This place is so good and so consistent. It's by far my favorite breakfast spot in PG/Monterey. Protein bagel and breakfast burritos are killer.
