Carmel's Bistro Giovanni

Once you enter this casual cozy little restaurant with Italian flare, you know that the service will be friendly and the food will be delicious. We sat in his private sidewalk. We loved the ambience, the service and the food. This is definitely one of the small restaurants that should not be missed when visiting Carmel.

A very satisfying dinner, with entertainment by local regular diners as well as visitors. Apparently, it's a good place to watch people for celebrities and wanting people. The owner has grown well and enjoys welcoming everyone, sometimes more than once. It is nice to see that a person stays stylish at her age and deals with oblivion in a charming way.

I was recommended to this restaurant by a family friend and happened to be in the area! All I had was delicious and I could say it was authentic / made with amazing ingredients! The mood was very cold and the staff was personal and attentive! I had the Misto Di Mare, Caesar Salat and Tiramisu! It's delicious. The pasta was tasteful and was full of delicious seafood. The salad was also tasteful and the dressing was for dying! The Tiramisu was moist, sweet and tasty! 10/10 recommend! Experience and food was amazing!

If you can get a table GO. If we were locals, we'd eat here two times a week. The menu, kitchen design and waiters are exceptional. My husband is an experienced cook and we? both experienced ?eaters? happy enough to travel for work and pleasure. We dinate more than we should and are not easy to please. Italian is high in our favorite food category and we? re from the east coast good Italian food is in our blood. This place was not disappointed. Italian classic with a (welcomed) California Twist executed. Ie: fresh, garden veggies served with my chicken parm and pasta. I was skeptical, but not after the first bite. Trust me. I'm really sad I don't have this restaurant home as a stacking option? but I digress, THANKFUL for the DELICIOUS foods attentive / hardworking employees?. A truly WONDERFUL experience all around. Grab a table and thank me later. As a supplement: I had the privilege of meeting Giovanni's brother class act and a highlight for an already magical evening. What an unbelievable meal!! Best we had all vacation. Amazing options, even for vegetarians like myself, and outdoor patio with heaters in a cozy alley as well as out front. Our server never rushed us despite us taking our time due to seeing a friend after a long time and we appreciated it. Great selection of the Block 57 wines!
