Loved this Mexican restaurant in Carmel. All we have ordered is great except Churros! We sent them back twice, but every time they don't taste right. They were much too heavy and did not have this crispy texture on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside, which is common for large tasting Churros. I would definitely return to this restaurant because the service was great and the food delicious.

My friend and I love this place, best margaritas in town and an amazing Mezcal selection. Delicious fresh food, we love mainly the mole and the halibut ceviche. Guac is also delicious! We always get the Churros. You think? but honestly, the best dish is her moè. We love Mario the server he is brilliant btw!

The service was excellent and the food was very enjoyable. We sampled the fried locusts, which were surprisingly delicious! We had such a great time this evening!

We typically enjoy drinks and appetizers at the bar. You probably need to sit down for dinner, though. The chips are absolutely addictive! The atmosphere is also quite nice.

We tried the grasshoppers, queso, cultura mole, steak, and churro fondue during our visit. The grasshoppers had a tangy flavor, which was surprisingly enjoyable. The queso was fantastic! The cultura mole was very good, and I particularly liked the addition of orange slices. The steak was somewhat average; it wasn’t well-seasoned, but it was complemented by a nice sauce. The churro fondue could have been better if it had just the churros with more cinnamon and sugar, as the chocolate overpowered it. Unfortunately, the service was pretty poor for the first 90 minutes of our 120-minute stay. Be sure to allow plenty of time and consider ordering two cocktails at once!
