Fishwife - Pacific Grove

The Fishwife used to be a premier restaurant. The last two Door Dash orders from here have been subpar. Tonight I ordered Chicken Piccata and clam chowder . The chicken dish arrived cold, lacked in flavor and the chicken was cold and dry. The clam chowder was HORRIBLE, as well. Not only was it cold but, the clams were tough and it was bland in flavor. I remember when their chowder was one of the best on the Monterey Peninsula. I will not need a strike three. This will be the last time I order from The Fishwife!

The salads and garlic bread were okay. I remembered I put utensils needed. But they did not provide any. They put my order in a paper bag and tonight rain is pouring. Well, not a pleasant experience.

I had the Alfredo Combo its delicious . I also had Garlic Bread and Pecan Pie .it was all wonderful and arrived hot.

I had the Alfredo Combo. It was wonderful, and met my expectations. I visit this restaurant every time I am in the area. It never disappoints.

Love the seafood here. Everything really fresh.The green lip mussels and the fried oysters are my favorite. Well seasoned and perfect amount of heat. Highly recommend.
