Ocean Sushi Deli - Pacific Grove

Hole in the wall serving take out sushi at a reasonable price. They only offer take out only. Lots of options and a limited hot food menu since they only have a hot plate. Knife skills aren't precise, so you get some generously thick slices of sashimi and rolls of different thickness. But the order still tastes great! Service is fast and friendly. Charges a small credit card fee, which they didn't tell me.

Great takeout place. The fish is so so fresh, the sashimi cuts are generous and the rolls are fun (from classics to creative) and really big as well. The service is very quick, and they give good recommendations if you're unsure what you'd like. Will definitely be back here regularly!

I had high hopes for this corner sushi place because I decided to give it a try after passing it by so many times. Ordered #3 dinner special. Unfortunately, the yakitori was oddly bland and undercooked and the salad was a questionable mixture of fresh with old greens. Maybe it was a one off day for this eatery. But based on this, and the high price for the quality that was purchased, I do not recommend. Hopefully the food gets better but I don’t know if I will venture to give it another go.

Delicious! Ocean Sushi is a great take-out place, with fast and friendly service. I needed something quick and healthy today, so I popped in and Adrian made me some California Rolls and Tamago, and before I knew it I was out the door. We also like the Sushi Bento Box and other Dinner Specials. Shout out to Adrian and Rosa for their friendly service!

Really nice people and a good little selection of Japanese staples. Looking forward to trying the curry next time!
