Great location with a fun outdoor dining experience. I highly recommend the burger!

The food was excellent, and the service provided by the sole server in the restaurant was impressive. That one woman was working tirelessly, doing her best to take orders, serve beverages, and handle the billing tasks. The Monarch Pub would benefit from hiring at least one or two more servers during the lunch shift.

We stopped by for some drinks and a snack. The patio is quite spacious. Even though we arrived during a shift change, the service was impressive. We ordered the calamari (4.5/5) and fried artichokes (4.5/5), and both were delicious with generous portions. They also have a great selection of beer, wine, and cocktails.

Fresh ingredients, cold beer mixed with great service in a Pub atmosphere makes for a great dining experience. The batter was thin and crispy on both the fish and prawns and the mushy peas were the perfect consistency served nice and hot.
