Wild Fish - Pacific Grove

The food at this restaurant is amazing. Be sure to sample the chowder that is not cream-based - it's one of the best dishes you'll ever taste.

Apparently they had issues with their chef, incredibly long wait for incredibly mediocre food. No one communicated with us about the delay until the food finally arrived. The owner, drunk apparently, came by to see how everything was. When we told him he laughed it off. The advantage to all this is it is expensive for again mediocre food. Also the live jazz band added to manic and frantic atmosphere, not appealing. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Not only was the food incredible and the drinks were great, the service was top notch. And to boot, it was Friday night of the Monterey Jazz Fest and they had an unbelievable jazz quintet that jammed through our meal into the night Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Food was good, service friendly maybe not very quick but the food quantity was ridiculous. We hat the bouillabaisse and tuna. The bouillabaisse: a cup of soup with 4 mussels and 2 shrimps for 42$ my brother had the bouillabaisse too and got 3 clams and 1 shrimp more The tuna for 36$ looked like a starter. 6 lil pieces of tuna with a lil carrots and fennel. We told the service that we were still hungry, but we just got explained that the cook changed recently wow did not help us we had to go somewhere else.
