China King - Pacolet

I called the order in, drove 15 mins to the restaurant, and than still didnt get my food 45 minutes later..We had to wait after we got there because the order wasn't even started..I blew the horn eventually and finally we got the food. Just to say no one pulled in or out the whole time I sat there .. I do understand how places can be busy or short on staff.

Food is consistently great. The family that runs this restaurant are super kind and always quick to remember repeat customers and their orders.

I ordered the hunan chicken with steamed rice. The rice was really good. The chicken was OK but would try something different next time. The place is quaint, clean and seems like out in nowhere. The service was fantastic and the wait time was minimal. I ordered at the counter and many others had call in orders. They were busy during my wait.

I ate there for the very first time yesterday. The food was delicious . Great service also

Steamed dumplings were rubbery, Wonton soup had old chicken taste and the broth had egg in it suppose to be clear). Food lacked typical Chinese flavor. Don't know where it got its 4.6 rating from?!
