The terrace and large tables beautiful dining area. when a man came out of the kovid, this was how a friend told me the place to go before the kovid. I also agree with him after the kovid. great service and authenticity . they even smile!

We visited the roy's superb party as 8 (plus a baby) and were all impressed by the environment and beautifully varied French menu. there are three menus to choose from (17, 26 and 32 euro) and all of them offer an excellent value and a series of seductive arrangements. the makrele with ricotta and tomatenstarter was a special hit and each food was presented artistically and full of taste. the service was friendly and welcoming and the staff did their best to explain courts, despite our limited understanding of the French language. there was a clear and inexpensive beverage menu and we were treated with nibbles of olives, drowned and a very pleasant amuse blood of salmon. there was also a small terrace outside, which was ideal for dinner coffee. we enjoyed this meal and established this restaurant as our favorite from a week long holiday in the normandie.

We were looking for somewhere to eat on a Saturday night while we crossed it in the opposite direction. the greeting and service overall were excellent, we were really well looked after. the food was delicious, especially the fish and the cookie dessert was wonderful! good value. to

Although it changed owners a few years ago, having been run by the same couple for nearly 20 years, nothing much else has changed. There are two parts to the establishment : the front room with the bar, typically filled at lunchtime with workers requiring...a good, home cooked, 3 course low price fast meal, and the restaurant with an a la carte menu and, obviously, more expensive albeit very reasonably priced. You are made very welcome, and it can be really packed. Plain, good, traditional and no nonsense French cuisine. I have never had any parking issues, which is a plus when travelling with children in particular. Anyway, the proof is in the pudding : the place would not have been running sosuccessfully for so many years without a reason !
