Live locally hadn't been here for a few years, thought take the kids for dinner on Easter Monday. Waited over hour for our entrees and hours for main courses. No apology by staff as to delays. Not a good experience, won't be...going be going locally there again after that, rather drive up to mins away for a better Thai experience and be served within a reasonable crime period.
The food and service here is superb and excellent, I can not understand how one could not have a great time at Eat Thai the original,
I truly do not understand the positive reviews of this restaurant; it seems like people are willing to tolerate stale, overcooked food. We ordered takeout from Eatthai and were disappointed to find reheated, old food. The so-called wagyu was tough and flavorless, especially in a massaman curry that tasted overwhelmingly of pineapple. The pork belly was so overcooked that it resembled soggy pork skin, likely deep fried in old oil. Avoid this subpar Thai cuisine - there are numerous better options available, and at a lower price too.
The service at this restaurant is top-notch, and the food is excellent and well-presented. However, we were surprised to find that our hot dishes were served on cold plates. The menu offers a variety of options, with mains priced mostly from to . The wine selection is extensive, with bottles starting around and also available by the glass or carafe. Parking can be a challenge, but the restaurant is conveniently located on a bus route and has easy access to taxis. We did not have the chance to check out the restrooms, but overall, we highly recommend this restaurant for a satisfying dining experience.
