Ricardo's Pizza Grill - Paddock Wood

Thank you so much to Richard (the owner) and his team for providing us with a great venue and delivering fantastic service throughout the evening. Richards communication in the run up to the party was efficient and nothing was too much hassle. The food was great with a vast selection of hot and cold food, the dance floor area looked perfect in the evening when lit up with fairy lights so not much decorating was needed and from start to finish the event ran smoothly. I thoroughly recommend using Ricardos for your party venue!

We arrived early for a day at Hop Farm and on arrival we spoke with the staff at Ricardo’s. We informed them that we were a party of 15 and asked them whether we would be be expected to book, or pre order our lunch. We were advised no. When we ordered our lunch, we asked for the kids (5 of them) to have their starters and mains come together. After 50 minutes of waiting, the kids starters came out, followed by all of our main courses another 40 minutes later. It was only after chasing the staff that we were informed of delays in the kitchen, there was no communication with us throughout. One of our party did not receive their food until everybody had finished theirs. Another member of the party had ordered a mixed grill platter, only to find that their lamb chop had been replaced by a beef burger, and their pork chop replaced with a sausage.. again, no communication. Lastly, another member of the party ordered a pasta dish but asked for the spaghetti to be substituted for penne pasta, only to receive something completely different, but after 90 minutes of waiting, we were reluctant to send it back! For what it’s worth, when the food did arrive, it was of decent quality and the manager could not be more apologetic, however, when you’re a party of 15 with 5 children under 10, basic communication is very important!!

Hired out Ricardo’s venue for my 21st birthday celebrations with family and friends and couldn’t have been happier with how the evening went... Staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. Food was amazing, everyone who attended complimented the food and a great selection of drinks. Thoroughly Recommend. Thank you Richard and his staff for helping make the evening so memorable!
