Been here twice now. The food is quite authentic albeit with small portions. We had the rendang & beef. They're delicious but the satay sauce is a bit too sweet & I can't taste the char. The place is clean & the service quite good. I would definitely come back.
I felt like the portions were so small for an $8/$9 dish. There were four of us and two kids, we ordered about 6 dishes. An example of what we got:Rendang: portion 2 pieces of beefSquid/sotong: two pieces Chicken curry: one whole piece of wingMaybe I expected more, but I seriously thought they were tiny portions. It might have been okay if it was a table for 1.
Traditional Indonesian food, served in a friendly family run café/restaurant. Tasty food, very clean and good décor.. even TV showing Indonesian shows. Entrees, Soups, Rice dishes, Vegie dishes, Fried dishes Classic curries eg Rendang, Ayam Kaleo, and traditional desserts, meals you would eat in local warung or street cart food. Will certainly return here to eat, enjoyed the experience. Good to have a local Indo Restaurant.
Absolutely delicious spicy dishes. Indonesian is a welcome change from my usual thai or chinese food choice. These guys sure do know how to cook it. :)
