Jp's Grill - Paducah

Lunch on patio. Enjoyed lunch on the patio on a beautiful April afternoon. Very nice environment and the service was friendly and attentive. The Portabella sandwich with asparagus was delicious and the asparagus was perfectly prepared. Will go again.

We waited quite a bit before someone took our drink orders. I actually had to call the place while we were seated to get them to at least take our drink orders. We almost left if it wasn't for the guy who answered the phone and who actually took the place of our server who never showed up. We finally got our food and it was actually not bad. If it had not been for the good service after the fact by the guy who wasn't supposed to wait on us in the first place it might have been a overall bad experience. We will give it another shot, it's in too good of a spot downtown to be a bad place. One more chance!

Excellent food and service. Ordered a rare burger, got a rare burger. Varied menu. I will be back.

Jgseverns. Last night my wife and I were joined by the Walshes for our first dinner at JP's. Absolutely an excellent meal as judged by all four. Each entree was a different choice: I had the lamb kabobs, others had the Cajun pork chop, Moroccan chicken and Chicken Parmesan. Appetizers were very good, entrees all excellent, dessert was good, and drinks were all very good. Add to the very good food an excellent waitress, Leah Rose, and it was a terrific combination. Leah was knowledgeable as well as informative and personable, as well as attentive. This restaurant in downtown Paducah is a welcome addition to others such as Max's.

The place was pretty. I had a nice outside view and the staff was very nice. The meal was fantastic and cooked as I wanted.
