The food was delicious! Loved their Kare-kareng Gulay, Salpicao, Crispy Pata and Pinoy Kaldereta. Plus, service was quite deluxe. Finish your meal with their coffee selection, and you'd have a great dining experience.
We were here last november 2022 and this place was still under a different management. i was surprised when we came back again today and it has a different name under a new owner. the place still looks cozy and still possesses that vintage charm. the menu has become more on spanish dishes rather than filipino and that is the big difference. food tasted great and the staff were very friendly and attentive. prices are affordable too. highly recommended!
We never planned on going to this restaurant, but this sudden decision to dine in La Casa Remedios turned out to be one of the best we have recently. It is obvious that this restaurant is an ancestral house before, but the feels of going inside still surprised me as they have maintained the old and antique looks even on the inside. Plus, the tables are arranged ala fine dining! The staff are all friendly and approachable. They are all smiles as we enter until we left the place. The menu is comprised of mainly Filipino dishes with some Spanish twists. We ordered spanish beef caldereta and beef mechado and they are both mouth-watering. The beef kinda melts in your mouth as they are very tender. We also ordered tilapia ala madrid, and three different types of pastas. They also serve coffee and frappuccinos and we got to try them too! Overall, the food is great, the place is great, the staff are commendable. We will surely go back and dine here again! We were supposed to eat at the other nearby restaurant, but that was closed, so we ended up here. And we loved it!!! We tried their caldereta (filipino and spanish style , tortang sayote (must-try! , and pancit bihon; all went above our expectations. The beautiful ambience was a big plus. We will definitely dine-in here again when we get the chance.
