Mister Tater's Tater Shack - Pahrump

We were unsure about where to eat, so we decided to stop by this cozy place in a casino. I ordered a cheeseburger while my wife opted for the chicken steak. The portions were generous, and my burger was cooked to a perfect medium. Additionally, my wife's vegetables were incredibly vibrant and bright green!

I shared my concerns with my waiter, who was very apologetic. I told him that the issue seemed to be in the kitchen. When I went to settle the bill, I once again politely expressed my dissatisfaction, but there was no effort to address my concerns, despite a floor supervisor standing nearby at the cashier's booth. This experience was quite disappointing and made me wonder if others who may have encountered similar issues were also ignored. The two stars I gave are solely for the service, which is usually very good. I'm now left with some hesitation about returning as a customer. Jim B. Pahrump, NV.

If you enjoy potatoes, you will absolutely love this restaurant. The potatoes are so large they can easily be a full meal on their own, and the variety of specialties is both wide-ranging and creative. I never thought of baked potatoes as anything more than a side dish, but this place has completely changed my perspective. You might think the prices are a bit steep, but with the generous portions, they are definitely worth it. We tried the BBQ chicken and the "Vacation Evening Dinner" potatoes, both of which were fantastic! We will definitely be returning to sample more from their menu.

For almost 5 years my wife and I are regularly in cafe without problems until today. I was alone in the city and thought of an early dinner. I decided to try the rib-eye steak. bad decision! the steak was hard. the carrots were from one box; the gravy was like water and the texas toast was nothing but a hoagie roll in the half cut and roasted. I couldn't finish part of the meal. the icy tasted as if he came out of a dirty container and I couldn't drink it. I have expressed my concerns about my waiter and he was the most apologetic. I told him the problem was in the kitchen. when I paid the bill, I expressed my unmistakable (very polite) again and no effort was made to discuss it with no one, even if a floor guard stood at the rande of the chaplain. this was a very disappointing experience and let me ask if others who had problems were ignored. the two stars are for the service, since this is generally always very good.
