Bale' Bar Restaurant - Pai

Great atmosphere, affordable drinks and excellent food. Staff are extremely helpful and chatting, and the live music is a bonus! Definitely a place you feel welcome when in Pai.

This new bar& restaurant in Pai is the latest opening of Mr Rachalad's conceptual place. You can enjoy here some relaxing moments while having morning brunch to late night cocktails and listening to life music or playing pool. Or simply looking at the deco All tastefully put together with handcrafted furnitures from his shop in Bangkok.

Prices are good, the mix drinks are sometimes strong sometimes light depending on the bartenders wrist. What is annoying is that if the staff has only one minute that they're not spending on serving drinks they go sit at a table themselves looking at their phones. This results in us signing for >5mins to order a drink. And 5 minutes is longer than it sounds in this case

Thai cuisine is good. Hot soup with cabbage, celery and chopped chicken warmed me on the cold day in Pai. But European cuisine is not so beautiful here. In addition, cooking European dishes costs more time than Thai cuisine. We waited for our pizza for about 45 minutes. For example, my soup was ready in 10 minutes after an order.
