Menu was limited by staff shortages and using substitute suppliers, but we were told of this on arrival and the staff were knowledgeable about the impact eg that the onion rings from the interim supplier weren't vegan. Tasty burger with smoky bbq jackfruit topping and chips.
The Inn on the Green is a nice pub with good food. You get good sized portions and they do some good deals, two for one at certain times. Lovely to sit outside, great view of Regatta fireworks. There is a car park at the rear of the pub, it is pay and display but if you take part of the ticket into the pub you do get money off you drinks or meals. The Inn on the Green can get very busy in the summer partiularly if there is an event going on opposite on the green. There is also accommodation on offer but I have never stayed there so I can't comment on that.
I quite like this place for its outside seating in the summer, but it is a bit dated and not a busy as it used to be. Very much a family place, with good food and some reasonable deals.
Great pub on the sea front, under new management. Really nice food, lots of meal deals, amazing puddings!! Shame they only have 2 lagers on offer.
Sometimes good and sometimes bad.goes up and down in quality.music is old fashioned and they have been having the same acts on for years.carvery can be good but other food is abit lame.staff are only ok and always seem to be changing.
