Shower no control to cool it down and the taps not good in our room, turned around and soaked you as pressure so high. Meal was booked and paid for for 4 of us but was told by restaurant that it was not booked with them, so we had to sit outside of restaurant as they were fully booked, even though they had been told 2.5 months before hand and on the 3 days prior to our booking and on the day!!! A lot less food choices available than last year when we came, also now charging £5 to swim! Will look around to see what other hotels are around after using the Palace for many years, as we were so disappointed this time. Good that they still have free parking. Hotel was very warm. Cheerful Barman

My room was dated, small, and the bed was uncomfortable. I arrived at 18.30 pm on a Sunday evening and I asked what time they did food till and was told there was nothing available but there are a few places on the front to eat. Just what you want to hear after a 6 hour drive. Rooms: 3 Service: 3 Location: 5
